Privacy Policy — SLP Practice at Home
Last updated October 31, 2026
SLP Practice at Home is made by Bridging Solutions LLC. It is used by a parent or caregiver together with a child. We collect as little as possible, and nothing is sold or used for advertising.
Information we collect
| What | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address (or your Apple ID relay email if you use Sign in with Apple) | To sign you in without a password and keep your child's practice tied to your account | Our database (hosted by Supabase) |
| Your child's first name or nickname and an age band | So the app can greet them and choose age-appropriate activities | Our database. Only you and your child see the name; the therapist sees their own record of the student, not what you typed. |
| Practice results: date, activity, items completed, items correct, minutes, and which practice words were right or wrong | To show progress in the app and, if sharing is on, to the therapist who sent the code | Our database |
| The therapist's code and the targets it carries | To load your child's practice set | Our database |
| Purchase status | To unlock the subscription | Apple and RevenueCat (receipt + anonymous user id) |
Children's privacy
The account belongs to the adult. We do not ask children for any information, there are no ads, no external links in the child's area, and leaving practice requires a grown-up gate. We do not record audio. The child's name is used only inside the app.
Spoken prompts (cloud voice)
To read practice words and questions aloud in a natural voice, the app sends the text of the prompt (for example "Say it with me: cake") to our server, which generates audio using ElevenLabs' text-to-speech service and caches the result so the same phrase is not generated twice. No names, emails, results or recordings are sent — only the practice text, which is the same for every child with the same targets. If you are offline the app uses your device's built-in voice instead. See ElevenLabs' privacy policy.
Sharing with the therapist
Sharing is on by default when you enter a therapist's code. The therapist can see days practiced, minutes, percent correct per activity, and which practice words were missed. They cannot see your name, your email, or anything you did not do in the app. Turn sharing off any time in the grown-up area; the therapist immediately stops seeing new and past results.
Service providers
Supabase (database and sign-in), Apple (purchases, Sign in with Apple, notifications), RevenueCat (subscription validation), ElevenLabs (speech audio from prompt text). Each processes data only to provide the service to us.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can turn sharing off or delete your whole account from the grown-up area inside the app; deletion removes your email, children, codes and all practice results from our database. You can also email cbgoju@gmail.com and we will delete everything within 30 days.
